And breath

One can always tell in our household when the school year is coming to an end. Because we can actually breath. No more after school sports or functions for a couple of months. Through this past school year we've done football, wrestling, basketball, baseball, and of course scouts that ran the entire year. We finished up baseball with pizza party at round table and Huba getting a trophey. Scouts is all but done but a picinic the first week of June. And although I get a lot of knitting done during these activities, esp waiting to pickup the teenager after wrestling practice that always ran a half hour over, I'm happy that I can finally breath..... now it is camping, gardening, swimming, and golfing season. So long to fast food dinners crammed in between two different activities, waking up at 5am only to go like crazy putting together a scout project (yep I'm the den leader~~den mom is out.) and no more haircuts at nine o'clock at night so the ref doesn't cut the teenagers hair with first aid scissors at tomorrows wrestling match.........
