What's Crack-A-Lackin

Not a whole dang lot is crack-a-lackin. I started the Glitter Breeze Sock designed by Judie from my LYS. Judie has a sight but I haven't figured out how to make it link though. I love the pattern though....it's mindless, really easy to memorize. Started it Saturday evening and I just finished the gussett!! Yippee! Considering that this is the week before our first camping trip of the season that's pretty darn good for me. My mother, who taught me how to knit, has ventured into the sock world. Which is extremely exciting for me! Finally she's calling me for pointers. Not that I have very many but still its a beautiful thing. They just opened up a LYS in Helena, Mt so of course when I go back home this summer we have plans to go and probably go broke. There is one thing that I love so much about socks and the fact that my LYS is within walking distance of my work.....I can be having a horrible day.............and go to the LYS~ everyone is ALWAYS friendly and of course I can pick out a new project (best way to pick up a knitter) and not wreck the bank. It's a wonderful thing.

"Many people think that if they were only in some other place, or had some other job, they would be happy. Well, that is doubtful. So get as much happiness out of what you are doing as you can and don't put off being happy until some future date." - Dale Carnegie
