On the needles

So last Sunday I went to my favorite knitting store, actually the only knitting store I go to. What did I come home with? Another Drops sweater. Mine is not going to be green but a turquoise. Its done with an alpaca and glitter carried together. I think that as of right now I have about two inches done on it. But, its a cable rib pattern. The body is knitted in all one piece then you split for the yoke and the back. One of the girls in our knitting group is making a pink one and the owner of the knitting store is making one. But, it will be a very warm light sweater.

This is the pink Drops sweater I've been talking about. I have one sleeve and up to the armholes done on the back. Right now it just rides around in the bottom of my knitting back. The pattern is messed up as too long for me. I say the pattern is messed up as I feel that I have a normal size torso. So what I really need is an evening with nothing going on so I can measure another top and map out my decreases. But It is a no interuption project.

And this is Isabella. I had Isabella done up to the armholes by last Saturday morning. Then I realized that I had too many stitches on one side and that I should of just went with the pattern and knitted it flat. So it went to the frog pond. I immedietly casted back on and now have about 5 inches done on the back. Not too shabby if I do say so myself
