One of the things that I love about the fall is pumpkins!!!!!!! Every year we grow our own pumpkins. Just the regular pumpkin ole seeds. Sometimes we get a whole bunch of regular ones. Then other years we get the huge monsters that take everyone in the house to get from the garden to the front porch.
The dahlia is the last blooming plant of the season for me. They are pretty much done though. Which is not really a problem as I'm ready to start buttoning up the flowerbeds for the year. No gardening means more time to knit and stamp!!

ooh, I love dahlias! I saw my first one when I went to Oregon to visit my bf's family. THey were in my bf's mom's garden. Soo pretty. I haven't seen them anywhere here in Florida. :(
