I'm back in Washington minus a son. I'll go into that a little later. But, driving home I thought of a contest. So here it is:
ANYONE WHO HAS EVER BEEN TO MONTANA KNOWS THAT YOU DON'T GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT TRAVELING AT LEAST 30 MILES. EVEN WALMART MY DEAR FRIENDS. EVERY YEAR WE SET THE TRIP ODOMETER TO SEE HOW MANY MILES WE DROVE. THE PERSON TO GUESS THE AMOUNT OF MILES (OR CLOSEST) WILL RECIEVE SOME SOCK YARN.

Whoo hoo! I'll have to dig out my calculator. I mentioned your contest on my blog, hope you don't mind. I hope the missing son is for a good reason and not a milk carton scenerio or something equally dreadful. Welcome home. No matter how much fun you have away it's always good to be home.
My sister and her family BIKED most of the way across the US last year and it seemed like they were in Montana FOREVER. Never ending Montana. So I'll guess....2,345 miles. :)

My official guess is 1,560 miles.
I found your contest throught Heide. (WAVES) Hi Heide! Now for my guess? Hmmm... If you drive more than I do, it would be 1200 miles?
Without any back tracking for forgotten items I would say your trip meter read 1126, but as you certainly could have done this...I'll say 1226 miles.
Montana is almost as bad as Texas for unending mile of nothing but miles. I'm guessing in the 2222 mile range.
